Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

At Protopep, we understand the importance of timely and secure delivery for research materials. All peptides are shipped with proper cold chain integrity maintained throughout the delivery process.

Standard Shipping

  • Delivery Time: 3-5 business days within South Africa
  • Cost: R 150 for orders under R 1,000
  • Free Shipping: Orders over R 1,000

Express Shipping

  • Delivery Time: 1-2 business days within South Africa
  • Cost: R 300 flat rate
  • Available: Major cities and metropolitan areas

Cold Chain Handling

All peptides are lyophilized (freeze-dried) and shipped in insulated packaging with ice packs to maintain optimal temperature during transit. Our packaging is designed to keep products stable for up to 72 hours in transit.

Order Processing

  • Orders placed before 12:00 PM (SAST) are processed the same business day
  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM are processed the next business day
  • We do not process or ship orders on weekends or public holidays
  • You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship only within South Africa. All shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. Products cannot be shipped to PO boxes or parcel lockers due to cold chain requirements.

International Shipping

International shipping is available on a case-by-case basis for qualified research institutions. Please contact us at [email protected] for international shipping inquiries. Additional documentation and customs clearance may be required.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your package arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected delivery window, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will work with the courier to resolve the issue and ensure you receive your products in perfect condition.
